
FIRST LADY DONITA MARTIN
First Lady Donita Nichelle Martin has been serving in ministry alongside her husband Bishop Keith J. Martin for 25 years. The former Donita Norman was born in Stanford, Connecticut but from an early age grew up in Lexington, North Carolina. First Lady Martin graduated from West Davidson High School and furthered her education at Fayetteville State University studying Political Science. While Bishop Martin was pastoring in North Carolina, the two opened a daycare center which First Lady Martin where she was a licensed daycare provider, managing the operation daily from 1995 – 2002. In 1997, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from the Andersonville Seminary, Camilla, Georgia.
First Lady Donita Martin has always had a strong connection and interest in women and children, and family and over the years she has taught Sunday school and worked with the Youth, Teen and Young Adult Ministries. In 2010 First Lady Martin established the “Women of the Well” Ministry. Her vision for this ministry is to encourage women to grow in their faith, strengthen family relationships, as well as build relationships with each other by studying and utilizing the Word of God.
As the Women of the Well ministry leader, her passion for this wonderful ministry invoked the vision for a Women’s Conference. With faith and perseverance, for three days in October 2011 she and the Women of the Well ministry successfully accomplished the first Women of the Well Women’s Conference. With the theme a “The Big Reveal: A Complete Makeover” women from all over came and experienced a mighty move of God that replenished, refreshed and made them over.
First Lady Donita Martin is the devoted wife of the Senior Pastor of Rehoboth Rebirth and Restoration Church, Bishop Keith Martin. They have been united in marriage for 25 years. They have two children, Tracy Jackson Martin and Epiphany Mishon Nichelle Martin.
